I know, I know, I know, I know… You’re thinking of Pink’s famous song, right?
Dear Mr. President,
Come take a walk with me
Let’s pretend we’re just two people
And you’re not better than me
I’d like to ask you some questions
If we can speak honestly
And you’re thinking: where is the song about the current President? – And you’re probably right.
I’ll be leaving very early tomorrow morning, not to DC (!) but to UL whose President would like to meet with me ahead of me being awarded my university’s award for services to the community in about two week’s time.
I’ve been thinking about what to tell him. Answers to questions he won’t ask. Or only the answers. To his questions. Politely. As expected.
Congratulations! You deserve it for all your continued hard work. Well done!
Both The Rosetta Foundation and An Saol Foundation could only happen, and have the success they had, because of people who are not afraid to do crazy things. Things that are not supposed to happened, things that are not supposed to work out. This is really what I like most about work: that it has meaning, that it makes sense, and that it makes the ‘impossible’ happen.
Congratulations, Reinhard! You have definitely earned it. Every bit of publicity will help An Saol!
Thank you, Donna! What I find most humbling is that this was proposed by students/friends/colleagues who worked with me on The Rosetta Foundation and who saw what was happening with the An Saol Foundation. For one of those it will leave a(nother) mark of its existence, for the other it will help to spread the word! As you say, every bit will help!
Felicidades!!!!
Gracias, Ana – me temo que lo ven como algo para marcar el fin de mi carrera allí:) Pero si, es algo que aprecio mucho porque lo propusieron gente con la cual he trabajado durante muchos años.
