If the state of the building that is home to the Department of Health was in any way a reflection of the state of the Irish Health System, then the only way out would be controlled demolition. Ironically, when I passed by the Department it was this van that was parked in front of it.
While this will most likely happen in the future, what is certain is that Pádraig is demolishing all previously know boundaries for someone with a his injuries, giving the phrase ‘moving forward’ a whole new meaning.
With his feet.
With his hands.
These are no longer just exercises. These are meaningful movements that will allow Pádraig to become more independent and autonomous.

Hello Padraig and Reinhard
Great to see progress Padraig. You will find in time you will respond to rhythm; I can’t explain it but the beat of music is deep in our psyche and your movements reflect this.
When I go back to Twitter I am going try and link you up to this Neuroscience person in the UK; he has written several books, I interact with Dr Shipley on the twitter only but my limited capacity tells me he is a man of deep understanding about the brain and capacity. Reinhard if you think he is worth exploring can make contact with him.

A believer in Twitter
There is a man called Harry Leslie Smith – he is 95 and travels to the camps where refugees live. His family were casualties of the pre NHS times and he has written books about the importance of the NHS. Today he recognised that it was Marx anniversary but mentioned about how he and his fellow soldiers in the mess eating spam and listening to Marian Anderson (I had never heard of her). The marvel of Twitter for me is that I could search her on youtube and tweet back to Harry to say I listened to her.
